Privacy Policy — 2048 Portals

Effective date: 21 June 2026 Last updated: 21 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Viachaslau Rouski ("we", "us", the "Developer") collects, uses, and shares information in the mobile game 2048 Portals (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. Who this applies to

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

2. Information we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game, a worldwide leaderboard, and ads.

a) Account information (only if you choose to sign in). The App lets you sign in with Google. If you do, Google provides us, via Firebase Authentication, with: a unique user ID, your display name, your profile photo URL, and your email address. Signing in is optional — the game is fully playable as a guest.

b) Gameplay and leaderboard data. If you are signed in and submit a score, we store your display name and score in our leaderboard database (Google Firestore). Leaderboard entries (name and score) are shown publicly to other players.

c) Advertising data. The App shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, approximate (non-precise) location, and device/diagnostic information. See "Advertising and consent" below.

d) Purchase data. The current version does not offer in-app purchases and collects no purchase data. If in-app purchases are added in a future version, they will be processed by Google Play Billing: we would receive confirmation that a purchase occurred but never your payment card details. This section will be updated before any such version ships.

e) Crash and diagnostic data. The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to report crashes and errors so we can fix them. A report contains the error and its stack trace, plus device model, OS version, app version, and — if you are signed in — your account identifier, so a crash can be matched to a bug report. It contains no gameplay content and nothing you have typed.

Crash reporting is on by default and is not governed by the ad-consent choice described below: diagnostics serve a different purpose from advertising, and switching them off with ad consent would leave the App's stability unmeasured exactly where consent is most often declined. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Send crash reports, which stops collection immediately.

f) On-device data. Your game progress, settings, and best scores are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data.

3. How we use information

4. Sharing and third-party services

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the App work:

Firebase Crashlytics Crash and error diagnostics https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob Advertising https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Advertising and consent

6. Your choices and rights

7. Data retention

Leaderboard entries and account data are kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the App.

8. Security

We use the security measures provided by Google Firebase (encryption in transit and at rest, access rules). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. International transfers

Our providers (Google) may process data on servers outside your country, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
